It wasn't long since Zoe started helping the slayer with her project, the two have been spending a lot of time together since then. The slayer of course would always make an excuse for the occasions, though Zoe easily saw through it.
You were always allowed to tag along, mainly because they were the only two people that you felt comfortable hanging out with, you were still adjusting to the thought of monsters not being terrifying beings.

So! What adventure are you planing today? writing fanfic to awaken Carl the unspeakable? cooking the ultimate omelet for more summoning items? Telling me all your deep dark secrets so I can write more accurately?

WELL MONSTER!... My fair-a-pist actually told me I should fight my inner demons for today, and I'm still trying to figure out what that means... I mean I've been drinking holy water all day and I feel exactly the same!

The slayer speed walks down the hall, you wanted to say something, but you knew that she wasn't ready for non reason based hang outs. You just barely got past that phase with Zoe yourself.
The two of you were about to head to the gym so you could skip gym when you hear the sound of someone being slammed against a locker, the two of you run to investigate!

The wolf pack had the slayer by the throat, the pack surrounding her, she was clearly caught off guard, normally she could dodge roll this kind of attack, especially from the wolf pack, they must be on hard mode... maybe, honestly you don't know their relationship well enough, but he has to have easy patterns normally right

CRACK! your first makes contact with the wolf packs face, sending him stumbling back and off of the slayer. The wolves surrounding them went to check on him as Zoe helped the slayer up off the ground, and did a quick check of her pockets. nothing

No, I just wanna check... Say you normally have a crossbow in this pocket right?

OF COURSE! It's always... WHERE IS IT!

you look back at the two for a second. for a moment you are distracted by the idea that zoe knows not only that she has one, but she knows where it is in her inventory, when you feel a fist phase though your face

THE HELL! WHY CAN I NOT PUNCH YOU!?

The wolf pack attempts multiple times to damage you, how ever they are fruitless in the attempt. You look down at your hand for a second, realizing that you had finally managed to make contact with someone, even if only for a second.
The attempts at hurting you had calmed the pack down to let Zoe Deescalate the situation, the wolf pack leaves, not really liking you and the slayer, but your just happy you managed to help your friends, you look back to see the slayer is gone, but she had left you a note
"Thank you, don't look too deep into this" you wish you could smile.
Later you and Zoe are looking over photos when you see what you looked like when you punched The wolf pack... when did she get that? Either way you looked cool as hell! +3 BOLDNESS
